Kenyan rappers looking to make a substantial mark through their visual content now have Nyashinski’s standards to aim for after the rapper’s comeback hit ‘Now You Know’ made history.

The former Kleptomaniacs rapper dropped the joint in May and in six months the video has already clocked a million views on YouTube.

As a result, ‘Now You Know’ is officially the first the first Kenyan rap song to hit a million views in the American video-sharing website.

An elated Nyashinski made sure to let his fans on social media know about the impressive accolade.

He wrote, “Now You Know” is officially the FIRST EVER Kenyan rap song/video to hit a million views! Wow!! Thank you God and thank all of you who watched and shared the video. Vj One and Beat Ya Keggah, we made history.’

At the time of writing, the video had 1,030,421 views.

Nyashinki’s second release, ‘Mungu Pekee’ despite being only a lyric video is at 770,406 views.
