There is a new Kenyan girl band in town that is fast rising to the top of the game after just two major releases.

The band going by the stage name ‘The Band BeCa’ consists of two vocally talented beauties, Carol Kamweru and Becky Sangolo – hence the name BeCa.

They formed the band early 2015 at the Sauti Academy – Penya Afrika where the two were undertaking a vocal training course.

The exciting duo released its debut single ‘Toka’ back in September which was well received.

Now, their second release ‘Brathe’ is set to eclipse the popularity of ‘Toka.’

‘Brathe’, a slang name for brother, is a declaration of freedom for all the ambitious and hard working ladies who want to have fun in the club and a dedication to all the ‘brothers’ out there who won’t allow the ladies to party in peace.

‘Brathe’ has been produced by Cedo at Pacho Entertainment, written by Mordecai (of H_art the Band) & Bensoul, while the visuals were shot by Kenya’s extraordinaire video director Sammy Dee of True D pictures.

Watch the duo below and see why they are about to shake up the music industry. They bring a different feel to the industry we didn’t know we needed.
