cartFred Matiang’i is arguably the best performing individual in the cabinet. When he was the ICT minister, he triumphed over a defiant and united media and moved Kenya to the digital era.

The president then moved him to the education ministry which had been razed to the ground by Jacob Kaimenyi and others before him. In a few months, he has been able to end cases of exam leakages and has improved efficiency. Case in point was the release of KCPE results yesterday, one month earlier than usual.

Now, Kenyans are wondering what the country would be like if he was at the top. He has proven himself a performer only rivalled by the late John Michuki.
