One of Kenya’s most prominent journalists Richard Chacha is easily one of the proudest and happiest dads this December.
Chacha’s daughters – Harriet Chacha and Stacy Chacha – have performed exemplary in their respective KCSE and KCPE examinations.
The first good news came over two weeks ago when Education CS Fred Matiang’i released KCPE results. Chacha’s daughter, Stacy was among the top performers having scored 417 marks out of a possible 500.
The former NTV reporter, as a result, rewarded her with a goat.
Congratulations my daughter Stacy for scoring 417. This is how we elders reward our children. Na hata sisemi like father like daughter,” Chacha wrote on social media alongside a photo of the goat.
Yesterday, he went a step further with the gifting after Harriet Chacha scored a mean grade of B(plain).
The former Mary Hill Secondary School student is now the proud owner of a Mercedes E400.
“Kusema na kutenda. I promised her a car and B plain has delivered it. Congratulations my daughter,” said Chacha.
Mr Chacha currently works as Mombasa County’s Director of Communications and Public Relations.
