Photos of matatu drivers and conductors kneeling down to pray at Nanyuki bus terminus have gone viral.

In these troubling times of frequent road accidents, the scene is a welcome surprise and Kenyans have not stopped singing their praises.

In the photos, the matatu operators are seen kneeling down and raising their hands to praise and worship God. Apparently, they do this first thing every morning.

We are accustomed to unruly matatu drivers and conductors, and this is therefore very welcome.
