Earlier this week, social media was in a frenzy over a Safaricom employee who was pictured kneeling on a floor to attend to a disabled customer.
She has since been identified as Pauline Muganda, a customer care attendant at a Safaricom shop in Nakuru for the last two years.
Following her exemplary service to the disabled man identified as William Kisumo, the National Council for Persons with Disabilities paid her a surprise visit to appreciate her efforts.
The council rewarded her with a cake and gifts that moved her to tears.
Ms. Muganda, 25, is a trained flight attendant. Her talkative nature and love for people drew her to study a course in cabin crew, but she instead landed a job with Safaricom after finishing her studies in 2013.
