First son Jomo Kenyatta on Saturday married his longtime girlfriend in a traditional Kikuyu wedding.

The ceremony took place at an undisclosed location, and the only evidence so far is two blurry photos. The first shows Jomo and his new wife standing side by side dressed in traditional Kikuyu attire.

The other shows President Uhuru and a man presumed to be the girl’s father seated on a chair with the rest of the family standing.

Jomo reportedly got engaged to the girl in June this year. She is said to be from Nyanza.

The two have been spotted together in public a few times. The first was during Jamhuri Day celebrations and the other at the airport receiving US President Barack Obama. They were also seen together during the Pope’s visit.
