Finally, something KFCB CEO Ezekiel Mutua can be applauded for without any backlash.
The Mutua-led films board is planning to establish a state-of-the-art creative centre in Nairobi.
The arts centre, a first of its kind in the country, will be a one stop- shop for the creative industry in Kenya. It will provide subsidised services and facilities for the creative arts industry, including training in entrepreneurship, mentorship, production and classification.
The centre will boast of world class production, editing, classification and post-production suites as well as top class technology.
According to Mutua, the centre will be the beacon of culture and communication in Kenya and the envy of many production companies in the continent.
So far, only an artistic impression of the centre is available with more details expected soon.
