Apparently, Kenyan songbird Victoria Kimani is not well versed in Swahili like we may have assumed. As a result, her new project is making waves for being her first ever song in her native Swahili language.
Dubbed, ‘GOTA’, the song is off her highly anticipated debut album ‘Safari.’ It was produced by Chocolate City Producer Reinhard, and features Congolese band Airline.
The songbird got help with Swahili from rapper Abbas Kubaff. The two worked together in the club banger, ‘Party Like A Moda’ in March this year.
“I am excited about this song because of the energy and passion with which it was made. I know it is something my fans across Africa will be proud of,” Victoria says about ‘GOTA.’
“GOTA” is available on iTunes and other major music platforms globally.
