An eyewitness claimed that it is then that he brandished a Jericho pistol and attempted to shoot a bar maid, “said Area Divisional Criminal Investigation Officer (DCIO) Mr Kiambati.

The bar attendant raised alarm prompting members of the public to intervene and disarm the drunk OCS.

Mr Kiambati said that the firearm was confiscated from the OCS and handed to the police.

“Once we complete our investigations, the police officer will be charged in court with misuse of a firearm,”said Mr Kiambati as quoted by Nairobi News.
