He promised and he has duly delivered.
During his visit to the country back in April, American soul artist, vocalist, songwriter and record producer Aloe Blacc revealed he would be shooting a music video in the country.
“I use my music videos as often as possible to share important social courses that I believe my audience should be aware of, and to create positive social transformations,” said Aloe Blacc.
“I have a song that I have composed, and a video concept I have created, which I want to do with the Malaria No More. The video will potentially be filmed here in Nairobi. So, I will be speaking with some filmmakers and the Malaria No More faction in Nairobi to make it happen,” revealed the singer back in April.
The video for the song titled, ‘Live My Life’, finally dropped over the weekend and features an all Kenyan cast.
The song and video champions for malaria awareness in conjunction with Malaria No More, a nonprofit organisation that aims to end deaths caused by the disease.
The video as was expected is moving and beautiful, and Kenyans in particular are raving about it.
