Citizen TV’s Janet Mbugua is one of the few mothers who is serving as a great inspiration to young mothers and upcoming ones through her ‘JourneywithJanet’ blog posts.
Even before she delivered Ethan Huru Ndichu, on October 26, 2015, Janet was already keeping her followers updated on her motherhood journey.
This week, being the World Breastfeeding Week 2016, the Citizen TV news presenter was not left behind as new mothers all over the world shared their breastfeeding snaps(Brelfies).
World Breastfeeding Week is celebrated globally every year during the first week of August.
This year’s theme is on raising awareness of the links between breastfeeding and the Sustainable Development Goals. By recognizing that breastfeeding is a key to sustainable development, we will value our well being from the start of life, respect each other and care for the world we share.
Janet captioned her brelfie on social media:
“#WorldBreastfeedingWeek is here! what better way to celebrate than with a#Brelfie (breastfeeding selfie) ☺️ This pic is not quite the brelfie but you get my drift ??????❤️.”
Isn’t she just inspiring?
