Following his recent mega deal with Sony Music Entertainment, Ali Kiba has scored another first as the the first Bongo Flava artist to be featured in ‘The Source’ magazine.
‘The Source’ is a United States-based monthly full-color magazine covering hip-hop music, politics, and culture, founded in 1988.
It is the world’s longest running rap periodical and has featured some of the most successful music acts in the world.
A proud Ali Kiba took to social media on Monday to break the news.
“The 1st Bongo Flava artist in history to be featured in the THE SOURCE MAGAZINE! I’m proud to place BongoFlava on cover feature of the number 1 MusicMag on the Planet!” He wrote.
The ‘Aje’ hitmaker became the second African artist to sign a global music deal with Sony after Nigerian hitmaker Davido.
