Four suspects were on Monday charged with poaching at the Machakos Law Courts.
The four, appeared before local Chief Magistrate, Lucy Mbugua for hunting and killing a giraffe and two porcupines at Malili area of Machakos County.
They denied the charges and were granted a Sh500, 000 bond each with a surety of an equal amount.
During the court proceeding, the carcasses of the porcupines and the head of the giraffe were presented as exhibits.
