The unoccupied building was already condemned for demolition when it collapsed on Friday night. The building was reportedly next to the one that collapsed last month leaving more than 50 people dead and many others injured.
National Disaster Management Unit Deputy Director Pius Masai said no casualties or missing persons have been reported so far.
He further urged residents to be cautious and not move close to buildings earmarked for demolition. About 226 buildings in the capital have been condemned by the county government.
