Nairobi County governor Evans Kidero last Sunday stunned members of the public when he rode on the back of Jaro Soja’s motorbike.
The staunch Gor Mahia fan was coming from Gor’s return leg of their KPL Top 8 semi final match against Tusker at Nyayo Stadium, in which K’Ogallo won 1-0 and 3-0 on aggregate.
Jaro Soja’s excitement on the day doubled when Evans Kidero abruptly stopped his motorcade for a meet and greet. The meet also saw the governor enjoy a short ride on the bike.
Jaro was later ushered into the governor’s official limousine where it’s believed he was handed some cash before he went ahead with his journey to Eastlands and the governor also proceeded with his journey.
The incident attracted a crowd of people who wondered why flashy cars abruptly stopped around Jaro Soja, with security personnel emerging from the cars with radio calls, before Kidero stepped out.
Even Jaro himself initially looked stunned over what was happening.
