A day after President Uhuru Kenyatta said the government is ready to solve the IEBC impasse by holding talks with opposition leaders, Jubilee nominated 11 legislators led by senator Kiraitu Murungi.
The members include Meru Senator Kiraitu Murungi, Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen, Nominated Senator Beatrice Elachi, Nominated Senator Fatuma Dullo, Runyenjes MP Cecile Mbarire, Taveta MP Naomi Shaaban, Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria, Kitutu Chache North MP Jimmy Angweyi, Mumias East MP Benjamin Jomo Washiali, Mandera West MP Mohammed Mahmoud and Narok women representative Soipan Tuya.
One name that has caught the attention of Kenyans is that of Moses Kuria.
The legislator who is not new to controversy was a trending topic on Twitter for the better part of yesterday as Kenyans reacted hilariously to his nomination.
