Award winning Ugandan musician, Eddy Kenzo, says he is the country’s biggest export since Idi Amin.
Eddy Kenzo, real name Edrisa Musuuza, made the remarks during an interview with WBS TV’s ‘Morning Flavour.’
When asked who Uganda’s top entertainer is, he said: “Yes, definitely I am the best in this game currently; no one has achieved what I have achieved musically. I respect Chameleone, Bobi Wine, Bebe Cool and the rest because they are legends and I am their fan. However, Ugandans go with the trend and our music is what trends now.”
The BET Award winner added that he was not just being arrogant because his work speaks for itself.
“Apart from Idi Amin, I think am the best export Uganda has produced after him. No one has raised the Ugandan flag in as many countries as I have done. Am not being arrogant, but my work speaks for itself!” He said as quoted by eDaily.
Earlier on, the popular musician had pointed out that he is aiming for the Grammy Awards adding he is no longer a ‘BET award material’.
