VIDEO: Watch Chase Bank Employees Break Into Song and Dance After KCB Purchase News

Emotions ran high on Thursday last week at Chase Bank Headquarters when employees learnt that they would be keeping their jobs.
The bank was placed in receivership a few weeks ago after a deposit run following news of internal fraud. Kenya Deposit Insurance Corporation assumed management, and all branches were closed. However, some staff remained at the headquarters to run things.
It was a big relief on Thursday when CBK Governor Patrick Njoroge announced that KCB will be taking over management and eventually taking up a majority stake.
Members of staff whose futures were uncertain were exhilarated and they showed it by dancing to Sinach Egbu’s ‘I Know Who I Am’.
