Video of the Day: Kenyan Marathoner Tripped by The Finish Line Tape

March 16, 2016

marRobert Mbithi might have just broken the record for fastest half-marathon in Bath’s history, but the Kenyan will likely see his achievement remembered for a comical fall.

He beat the previous best time for the city’s annual event by 16 seconds, but his golden moment didn’t go quite to plan.

As he crossed through the finishing tape, arms aloft and with a grin from ear-to-ear, 26-year-old Mbithi found himself in a tangle and tripped to the floor. (Daily Mail)
