Well, until the Kenya Power market monopoly ends, it is safe to assume that Kenyans from across the country have very little faith in the electricity distributor.
If it is not for constant power outages, Kenyans have time and again raised concerns over high bill charges and numerous irregularities.
In Mombasa’s Kongowea area, residents have raised the alarm over a transformer whose height is so low that it poses great danger to the locals and in particular school going children.
Photos of the transformer were shared on social media on Tuesday with the caption; “KENYA POWER has lowered their transformer height to make it easier for children to reach . This one in pic is outside a school in Kongowea.”
