It was the end of the road for a stray lion on Wednesday after it was shot dead by Kenya Wildlife Service rangers.
The lion had escaped from the Nairobi National Park, something that has become all too common lately. The male lion had strayed as far as Kajiado-Isinya road when KWS officers were deployed to capture it.
It however turned tragic when the lion became wild injuring a boda boda rider. The rangers were forced to shoot down the big cat before it could do more harm.
The boda boda rider was admitted at Isinya hospital.
