Adult Content: First Kenyan Gay Music VIDEO Featuring Steamy, NSFW Scenes

vidA new video has just landed on YouTube and promises to be controversial.
It is a remix of Macklemore’s 2012 hit ‘Same Love’, featuring famous Kenyan gay personalities. “This song goes out to the new slaves, the new blacks, the new minorities…” the song starts referring to LGBT people.
Done by rap band Art Attack, the remix highlights difficulties faced by gay people in Kenya and the region, showing several critical newspaper headlines.
As if the message was not controversial enough, the video features men kissing and in steamy positions.
It also has footage from hit TV show Empire where a young Jamal was mistreated by his father for being ‘girlish’.
Among the gay personalities featured are rapper Noti Flow, Joji Baro and Binyavanga.
Also featured is Kiharu MP Irungu Kangata who has been vocal against homosexuality.
