It was all going well for Kenyans when Adelle dropped the super hit which was then followed by Dela’s Swahili cover and Alisha Popat’s. However, all hell broke lose when gospel singer Jimmy Gait thought he could hack a cover with a Christian rendition of the soulful love ballad.

It did not end well. With close to 1000 dislikes compared to 200 likes(at the time of this writing) on YouTube, Kenyans ruthlessly hit out at Jimmy on social media.
