As we mourn the fall of ex-Makadara MP and former Nairobi Mayor Dick Wathika, we also have to look at some of his memories before his sudden demise. Unknown to many, the politician was a man of multiple talents as he was also a part-time musician who used to record his music at Mukurwe-ini Sound Studio.
Hon. Wathika set up the music studio in a bid to help young people develop their talents in the entertainment scene and to set the pace, he headed to the studio and recorded an inspirational song dubbed wira ni wira, (work is work). In the song he nicknamed himself J.D wa Shiku. Interesting, isn’t it? Below is the amazing music video he released.
