After seeing their companion getting hit by a car in Hong Kong, a herd of cattle refused to leave and chose to stay by its side.
The scene that happened on Sunday morning has touched many social media users. According to the South China Morning Post, the black bull fell on its side after getting hit by a four-wheel drive vehicle on Sai Sha Road, spilling blood. Its fellow cattle were then seen surrounding the fallen bull, with some encouraging it by rubbing its face with their heads.
The herd blocked the road, but no matter how some motorists blew their horns, they still refused to go.
It was only until the police arrived that the cattle were dispersed. But unfortunately, officers from the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals failed to bring the black bull back to life. It was then removed from the road. (CCTV)
