An aged Kalenjin man named Cheruiyot Arap Kuri was overjoyed after getting audio records of his sound tracks that he recorded more than 60 years ago but never had the chance to listen to.

In 1955, a youthful 28 year old recorded his songs with an ethno-musicologist. It is only now that he got to listen to his voice.
