Popular Kenyan actress Brenda Wairimu could very well have been on her way to Hollywood superstardom. The Mali actress landed herself a spot on the next round of ‘Top Actor Africa’ auditions but she sadly had to forfeit her spot.
The BET hit series conducted interviews last weekend at the Kenya National Theatre in search of the next hottest acting talent out of the continent for season 2 of the reality show.
The Kenyan on screen sweetheart took to social media to share the great news with her fans on Thursday before delivering the sad news some hours later. The next stage of the gruelling reality show involved travelling to Johannesburg today, which Brenda could not make on one day notice.
Here’s the call back message she received;

Brenda stood a chance of winning the title of Top Actor Africa, a cash prize of $10,000, international representation and access to Hollywood auditions.
