To pay or not to pay.
Kenyans are divided on this topics, with some, especially the opposition saying that the government should honour court rulings, and others saying the economy cannot sustain.
I’m a little on the fence on this one. I totally understand that we have a small economy which can not sustain certain pay demands without raising the VAT for instance.
On the other hand, I’m left wondering how we sustain or MPs constant pay hikes, a thousand commissions, and still spare billions to steal.
President Uhuru would convince me more if he was running a clean government.
Anyway, one Kenyan has some really interesting thoughts on why teachers should not be given a raise.
