Kenyans on Facebook have been largely ignored due to the rise of Kenyans on Twitter. In real sense, Facebook has much more numbers than Twitter, but because of privacy and other design flaws, the platform does not provide efficient tracking of trends and hashtags. Thus the media goes with the platforms whose statistics are easy to come by.
