A 9 year old girl named Chanelle Wangari has made Kenya proud after representing her country in the World Junior Golf Championships in US. Though she did not clinch the coveted title, the young lass was impressive during the 3-day competition that saw her meet lots of Kenyans living abroad who had come to cheer her up.

The young Chanelle schools at Makini and has won more than six trophies from the junior tournaments she has participated in so far. In 2013 she made history after winning the Africa Junior Challenge held in South Africa.

Below are photos from the just ended US tournament that she says she enjoyed.
