There are several ways to find out if your governor has underperformed, and now Kirinyaga Governor Joseph Ndathi has added another one.
Last week, as the nation was focused on Obama’s visit, Ndathi was busy making headlines of his own in his county, after officially opening Gatundu Footbridge. The cutting of the ribbon ceremony was colourful affair, with grown men clapping and cheering for their governor.
While other counties are opening highways, launching fleets of ambulances or unveiling medical equipment worth tens of millions, the Governor of Kirinyaga took time out of his busy schedule to do this.
I don’t know why there should even be a ceremony for this.
Here are the photo. When you see you cannot unsee.
Some reactions from Twitter.
