After a lot of speculation concerning which top artiste will headline the third season of Coke Studio, the King Kunta rapper might just be John Legend’s replacement.
According to sources within the pan-African television show, Kendrick Lamar has already agreed to the deal to fly him to Nairobi for the finale.
Word Is report that an unnamed source said, “He has already signed the contract. He had to be tied down in order to avoid a scenario similar to John Legend’s.”
It may still be too soon to get excited as organisers of the show are yet to comment on the claims.
However, confirmed for the show is American hip hop and R&B disc jockey and producer, DJ Jazzy Jeff, who has worked with artistes such as Will Smith, Eminem, Black Eyed Peas, Talib Kweli, and Method Man.
