Barely two months after he was elected Kabete MP, Ferdinand Waititu is already making headlines for his unorthodox style of leadership. On Saturday Waititu led the youth in the constituency in breaking into bars and destroying liquor, in a move aimed at saving young people from alcoholism.
The exercise was carried out in various shopping centres in the constituency, with the ‘Baba Yao’ led group moving from one bar to another and breaking into the premises using sledge hammers and hacksaws.
On a lighter note, comedian Kinyanjui The Reporter has given his perspective on Waititu’s style of leadership after the MP’s latest fracas.
