President Uhuru Kenyatta yesterday paid a courtesy visit to KDF soldiers who were injured in the botched Lamu Al Shabaab attack.
The Kenya Defense Forces managed to repulse Al Shabaab terrorists as they attempted to raid a military camp in Lamu on the eve of marking one year since the Mpeketoni massacre. KDF soldiers managed to kill 11 of the attackers. However 2 KDF soldiers succumbed to the gun fire.
The injured were admitted at the Defence Forces Memorial Hospital.
