kambuaKambua has paid tribute to her late dad in the best possible way; by making a tribute song.
The gospel singer lost her dad, Prof. Mutsembi Manundu, a renown figure in the country on April last year. A year on, Kambua has written a song dubbed ‘Tutaonana Tena.’
The song is also dedicated to those who have lost ones and it could not have come at a better time, owing to the recent Garissa University attack that claimed the lives of 147 people.
Kambua describes the song:
“This is a tribute to my father, Prof. Mutsembi Manundu who God called home on 9th April 2014. I celebrate the man that he was- my dad, my king, my friend. “We carry you in our hearts always. Koma nesa daddy…lala salama Baba, tutaonana tena.
And to everyone dealing with the loss of a loved one, remember that for every broken place, there is new mercy and grace. May the God of all comfort pour His healing balm into the bleeding places of your life.
He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death, or mourning, or crying, or pain…” Rev. 21:4.”
