An elderly couple from Murang’a was the talk of town on Valentine’s day after receiving a surprise chopper ride from their children to mark the lovers day, and the day they renewed their wedding vows.
That, together with a beautiful cake, roses and a big feast was made possible by their famous son, Stanley Kamau – Ahadi Kenya CEO, and his siblings.
It is just a small gift for a child to give his parents, but the two, Sarah Wanjiku, 68, and Stephen Maina, 71 will forever remember this day.
The ceremony was attended by top gospel singers among them Ben Githae, and political leaders among them Murang’a Governor Mwangi wa Iria, Senator Kembi Gitura, Women representative Sabina Chege and at least 3 Members of Parliament.
