First Lady Margaret Kenyatta has impressively taken up her role in the country. Even as the Jubilee government faces a myriad of insecurity issues, Margaret has been going on about her business having a positive impact across the country away from the politics.
On Tuesday, she hosted Nairobi SOS children at State House. The First Lady who is the SOS homes patron, brought smiles and joy to the kids faces as she donated Ksh. 500,000 to five SOS children’s homes in the country, Christmas cakes and two balls each to the children’s homes in Nairobi, Kisumu, Eldoret, Meru and Mombasa.
The five homes host more than 2000 children according to SOS Villages Kenya Board of Trustees chairman Dr. Martin Oduor-Otieno.
