The history of Kenya goes far beyond what is documented in Primary and Secondary school books.

A lot can be found in museums, oral history and most importantly the National archives. Did you know for instance that at some point there was a 2 shilling coin.

It is said that very few of this 1969 coin were minted, with rough estimates putting the number at 15.
