TV viewership tracking service Geopoll has released the October statistics for Kenya.

As always, Citizen TV comes top with its numbers showing no sign of going down. The Royal Media owned station attracted an average of 1.42 million viewers per 30-minute time block.

KTN was a distant number two with 535,000 viewers per time block, and third was NTV with 442,000 viewers.  K24, QTV, and KBC are fourth, fifth, and sixth in terms of viewership, all with an average viewership of less than 300,000 per half-hour.

Citizen TV viewership is especially good from 7pm till 10pm, where the average audience is 2.2 million.

In October KTN and NTV both had their daily peaks late in the evening hours: KTN’s highest viewership was at 9pm, with an average of 930,000 viewers from 9pm-9:30pm.  NTV also had its largest daily audience  size at 9pm, with an average of 828,000 viewers.

NTV is the clear leader on Sundays, with Churchill Show attracting an average of 1.95 million viewers. The highest rated episode aired on October 12th. The October 12th episode, Season 4 Episode 32, which featured several Miss World Kenya contestants and had an audience of over 2.25 million viewers.
