Retired president Daniel Toroitich arap Moi turned 90 yesterday.

He celebrated this milestone by planting a tree at Kabarak University. His life has been very eventful before and after he succeeded Mzee Jomo Kenyatta. Though he has maintained a relatively low profile since retiring in 2002, he still takes stands on matters of national interest.
