mutMututho must be a devil in the face of almost every youth in Kenya, or, at least he was following his controversial ‘Mututho law’ and the Masaku moves.

But the National Authority for Campaign against Alcohol and Drug Abuse boss proved he is not when he secured the release of 16 children from Baricho court following their arrest on drug abuse. According to the Kirinyaga West Sub-County OCPD Chemonges Ndiema, these school children were arrested after police acted on a tip – off from the public.

Mututho urged parents who had thronged the courtroom not to punish the juveniles but rather have them put under a two week rehabilitation program immediately. He promised to bring a counseling team to Karigo Market where youths and parents would be attended to.
