We’ve heard stories or seen videos of women caught stealing household goods like flour, rice and cooking oil from supermarkets. Normally, they stuff them inside their heavy clothes. Many are successful and walk out undetected, but the few who have been caught end up being faces of embarrassment.
A woman in Thika however crossed the red line last week. She walked into Kassmatt Supermarket and went straight to the electronic section. Slowly, she disconnected a 22 inch LED TV screen all the while checking if anyone was seeing her.
She then carried it to a corner and stuffed it inside her clothes. When TV cameras arrived at the scene, she was forced to repeat the exercise for Kenyans, and the result is embarrassing.
Here’s the clip from NTV.
