It was during the ‘One on One’ segment where she was hosting Jeff Koinange. As expected, the conversation was interesting with the questions ranging from Jeff’s new book to his relationship with the president.
Jeff had with him two copies of his new book ‘Through my African eyes’; one for a lucky viewer and the other for Lillian Muli. He offered to autograph both copies, starting with Lillian’s.
“Can I write Kanene?” Jeff asked.
To which Lillian quickly replied, “No, Muli’s just fine.”
More often, the first answer is usually the right one, or the one that comes from the heart. It was clear Lillian did not expect such a question, thus no time to ‘script’.
Kenyans on Twitter were quick to point that out.
Meanwhile, Lillian Muli stopped Jeff Koinange from writting the name “Kanene” on her autographed copy of Jeff’s book
