Top Kenyan gospel artiste, Daddy Owen has been on the spotlight for all the good reasons. From sponsoring a child through primary education to helping out upcoming artistes, the list is nearly endless.

The towering musician has now come out to state that he will be dealing with upcoming gospel artistes without ending up in a scandalous situation. “I am tired of listening to back and forth tales of upcoming artistes accusing established artistes of ‘using’ them. The worst part is when it comes to royalties. I really love helping new talent but at this rate, I just have to be careful,” he told The Nairobian.

But when asked if there was a particular individual who influenced his decision, he declined to reveal much though rumor went round back in January that he conned upcoming artiste Danny Gift who they collaborated in the song ‘Kazi ya Msalaba’.
