The comic who is also set to appear on the big stage of African comedy, Nite of a Thousand Laughs, for a second time, will in two months set off for the three destinations to host what he feels will be the biggest platforms in his comedy career.
“The tours are part of my agreement with Opa Williams and they will start with Nigeria, South Africa and London respectively. I feel this will be my greatest arena I will have performed on so far. It gives me much happiness,” he told The Star.
Speaking about his selection to perform on a Nite of A Thousand laughs, Chipukeezy – who is also a radio co-host at Kiss 100’s Big Breakfast show alongside Caroline Mutoko and Linda Nyangweso, said that it was s dream come true.
“When you pray to God and believe it, good things will eventually start happening to you. To be on this platform for the second time is a dream come true for me. It is a testimony that I have grown as a comedian and that humbles me. And with the upcoming tour of the three countries, I am going to cement my name, and Kenya’s, as a credible comic. However, I will have to work harder because I must up my game now that I am in the international arena. I do a lot of research and I believe the sky is the limit for me.” He said.
