Last week, rapper Bamboo came out to declare that K-South was no more. The hip hop group comprising of Bamboo and Abbas, was formed back in 1995 and saw the two artistes firmly establish themselves in the Kenyan music industry.
They however ventured solo in 2005 after Bamboo relocated to the States and on his return, they somewhat revived K-South when they released the track dubbed ‘Kumbaff’. Things took another twist on Wednesday 14 last week, when Bamboo announced the end of one of the pioneer hip hop groups in the country.
Following the post on Bamboo’s Facebook page, Abbas then took to his and fired shots at the former in what looked like an accusation that Bamboo was slowing down his progress.
