Sauti Sol Contract Lawyer To Prevent Banning of ‘Nishike’ Video on TV

May 5, 2014

sautiLast week, Sauti Sol released a highly sensual video for “Nishike” that sent the internet into a frenzy. The group got the streets talking about their new sweltering video. The video being too hot, has slim chances of being aired on local TV stations.
This was evident at the inaugural Mdundo Awards by the lead vocalist & guitarist of the afro-pop band, Bien Aime. In the middle of his remarks and quote of thanks for everyone who came through for the making of the video, the vocalist disclosed that the band’s lawyer is currently at the corridors of justice to petition against the banning of the video. According to Bien, “Nishike” was banned for “showing pornography”.
It’s still unconfirmed if the video has been banned, but if so, Sauti Sol’s ‘Nishike’ will be listed alongside “You Guy” released by P-Unit as a controversial line-stepping video.
