Angelina Jolie could get into politics if she knew she would be taken seriously.
Wednesday on “Good Morning America,” George Stephanopoulos reminded the “Maleficent” actress about a 2005 interview, when Jolie said she couldn’t get into politics due to all the skeletons in her closet.
“I wonder if by now my skeletons are out,” Jolie said. “They’re probably all out.”
Has she reconsidered her position, Stephanopoulos asked, nearly ten years later?
“You know, if I thought I’d be effective, I would,” Jolie said. “But I’m not sure if I would ever be taken seriously in that way and be effective.”
Jolie also talked about perfecting the role as the evil villain, revealing to Stephanopoulos that she practiced her voice on her children and picked the accent that got the most laughs. Jolie also ruminates to Stephanopoulos about a possible “paintball wedding” with partner Brad Pitt.
