April 30, 2014

Former-Vice-President-Kalonzo-MusyokaFollowing former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka’s discriminatory remarks towards a journalist, Kajiado County Wiper coordinator Solomon Kinyanjui has resigned as the party coordinator. Kalonzo Musyoka landed himself in trouble when he declined to answer journalist Kennedy Muriithi’s question because of his name.
Mr Solomon termed the statements by Kalonzo as shameful and representative of his ethnic misconceptions, which have created a negative picture of his party.
“Due to the unfortunate statement by my party leader that resulted in a lot of pressure from Wiper supporters in Kajiado County, I have opted to resign as the party coordinator,” he said.
